Organizational
Structure
ECIHW is a nonprofit, 501(c) (3) Corporation represented by Murtha, Richter
and Pinney LLP of New Haven.
The purpose of the
Corporation is exclusively for charitable, education, and scientific purposes
as noted in our Vision and Mission Statements.
Our bylaws state
that the activities, property and affairs of the Corporation shall be
managed by its Board of Directors. The Board of Directors have the responsibility
of seeing to the proper exercise of all the powers that may be exercised
or performed by the Corporation under the statutes. The Board is self-perpetuating
in that the Directors elect their own successors.
The
Board of Directors meets monthly. The President reports on the work
of the Board to the general monthly meetings.
