Sharon DeJoseph, RN, MSN, HNC

Sharon DeJoseph, RN, MSN, HNC, is a masters prepared registered nurse and a certified nursing home administrator licensed in CT. Her MSN was obtained from Western Connecticut State University and her certification in Health Care Administration from the University of Connecticut. She holds certification in holistic nursing from the American Holistic Nurses Association. Her holistic training was received through Seeds & Bridges Inc., a certificate program for nurses. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society for nurses, Lotus, the Educational Center for Integrative Health and Wellness and the Ct. Holistic Health Assoc. She is currently in private practice as a holistic nurse with a focus on wellness counseling and wellness therapies. The primary wellness therapy used in her practice is myofascial release, a hands-on therapy of the connective tissue used to relieve pain, postural problems, functional problems, illness and stress. Her myofascial training is on-going through the Myofascial Release Treatment Seminars. Additional services include public and corporate health education programs, staff development services for healthcare professionals and referrals within a comprehensive network of professional services. She maintains an office at the Brookfield Office Park in Brookfield, CT. and also practices at the Pomperaug Chiropractic and Holistic Center in Southbury, CT. and Wholistic Physical Therapy in Brewster, N.Y.
